Vin Diesel As Blackbolt, Actor Hints Role In 'Inhumans'
Vin Diesel has reportedly been hinting of his involvement in "Inhumans." This time the actor yet again hinted of his role in the upcoming Marvel film.
As per Comicbookmovie, Vin Diesel's recent photo is the most obvious hint yet. The actor shared the image on his Facebook page, where he's seen wearing a simple black muscle shirt with the word "Inhumans" printed at the front. It's interesting to note that the actor's pose shows a resemblance to Blackbolt, whose photo is likewise shared by Comicbookmovie on its website.
According to New York Daily News, Diesel has been rumoured to play Blackbolt, the leader of the superhumans that make up the "Inhumans." The actor has so far been teasing his fans with the role but has yet to personally confirm his involvement. However, as per Comicbookmovie, the last time he teased a role in one of Marvel's films, he ended up voicing the talking tree, Groot, in "Guardians of the Galaxy." But then as per NYDaily News, he also gave false hopes to his fans back in 2013. The actor shared a photo of himself while inside the Marvel offices with an Avengers poster on the background. Additionally, Diesel gave a cryptic reference to "tunnel vision." During that time fans reportedly thought he will play as The Vision in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," but Paul Bettany landed the role instead.
However, it's believed the actor is destined for bigger or major roles in other Marvel films. His voiceover for Groot allegedly gave him a great fan base that the studio's head, Kevin Feige, has come up with other plans for him. Likewise, Diesel supposedly fits the role of Blackbolt because of his deep voice. The character is especially noted for his powerful voice, which could allegedly unleash massive destruction.
Regardless, only time will tell if Vin Diesel will be starring in a major role in another Marvel film or if he will be playing as Blackbolt in "Inhumans." The movie is still four years away from its scheduled release on Nov. 2, 2018. As per Den of Geek, viewers may soon find Easter eggs pertaining to the film, possibly in the TV series "Agents of SHIELD."
