Vin Diesel Emotional Post for Paul Walker Plus ‘Fast and the Furious 7′ Premiere Date
Due to hit cinemas very soon, "Fast and Furious 7" is finally ready to start moving after a loss of a great actor, Paul Walker, and the film's leading character. Vin Diesel announced on Sunday, Dec. 22, that the seventh installment of the "Fast and Furious" film series has now a new official release date - April 10, 2015.
Diesel announced the good news on Facebook and posted another emotional, heart-wrenching post about the lost of a great friend. The post came along with still photos of Paul Walker, an actor who died in a tragic car accident after he left a charity event he hosted on Nov. 30.
Diesel wrote: "The last scene we filmed together... There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured... and, in just how far we've come...
Fast and Furious 7 will be released..
April 10th 2015!
P.s. He'd want you to know first..."
The film was previously set to premiere on July 11, 2014 but after Walker's death the movie has to undergo a series of change and Diesel's announcement is a perfect gift to all "Fast" fans. Walker was scheduled to shoot additional scenes of the movie and after his death the production of the film was temporarily put to a halt.
"Fast 7" is going to a series of rewrites for Paul Walker's character but the change doesn't mean that "Brian O'Connor" will be killed off. Report says that Walker's character will be retired in a kinder way by using the existing footage of the late actor.
Although there are rumors that Cody Walker will be taking over role in the film, but for now the production team is more focused on how to give Walker an appropriate send off and not killing him in the end. Director James Wan and his writer, Chris Morgan, are working doubly hard to figure out the best possible way to wrap up Brian O'Connor's story.
