Vin Diesel and Paul Walker shared many years together as the best of friends. These two were like brothers on and off screen. Both had starred in the six installments of the "Fast and the Furious" making their bond grow stronger over the years.

Amidst the tragedy that took place on November 30,Walker was leaving his charity event, "Reach out Worldwide" when he died in a car crash that took his life and his other friend, Roger Rodas. Fans and other celebrities were devastated to lose such a good actor, father, brother, son and friend.

Diesel was shocked at the news. Right after hearing about the car crash, he had rushed to the home of Walker in California to be able to console Walker's mother. Vin Diesel revealed through his Facebook page how he wanted to be with Paul's mother, Cheryl Walker after he learned about Paul's death. The actor got on a plane and headed straight to California.

The actor wrote on the social networking site saying:

'When I heard, I immediately flew back to California, and went directly from the plane to his mother's house... I thought they needed my strength, but realised when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs. His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry... I said sorry? You're the mother who lost a son?... She said yes, but you lost your other half..."

Diesel's heartfelt post was indeed shared by many of his fans and friends. It is indeed an emotional statement to get from an actor that plays a tough guy in the movies. The "bromance" and the friendship that he and Walker had will always show in their movies. Even if Hollywood never really cared about how close these two were, only "Fast & The Furious" fans would clearly understand the turmoil Diesel is currently going through.

The "Fast and the Furious" seventh installment has been held due to the change in the script. According to the director of the movie, James Wan, the movie will push through and it will continue once everything has been sorted out.
