Vince McMahon’s RAW Announcement Fuels Speculation of Stephanie McMahon’s Pregnancy
The chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment made a surprise appearance at Monday Night RAW at Buffalo, New York. Many interpreted this as a way to appease fans for the absence of the promised appearance of superstar John Cena.
The crowd in attendance got more than that when the head executive of the WWE announced a stipulation for the upcoming Survivor Series later in November. McMahon declared that if Team Cena came out on top over Team Authority during the five-on-five match, he will strip his daughter Stephanie McMahon and his real life husband Triple H of all powers in the WWE universe. The announcement was sure-fire way to pique the interest of the aficionados into the upcoming pay-per-view event, but some pundits raised the angle that the announcement was a way for the wrestling company to give Stephanie McMahon and Triple H time off due to the former's pregnancy.
Social media followers took notice of the noticeable tummy bulge in the WWE's princess during her appearance at RAW. And if the speculations are true, the announcement of the stipulation for Survivor Series becomes a happy coincidence, which was first inferred by wrestling site, What Culture.
There must be some fuel to the smoke as McMahon rarely makes a television appearance these days. In fact, the Monday night show was his first since he appeared before the public a day after Wrestlemania 30 unfolded. At first, he goaded the public with the promotional offer of WWE to offer a free month of WWE Network Service before he unleashed the bombastic announcement - what is at stake at the Survivor Series.
Stephanie McMahon pregnancy rumours aside, the reward offered by McMahn is sure to fire the collective egos of John Cena and his four other teammates. This early only Dolph Ziggler has been rumoured to take on the side of the leader of Cenantion. For Team Authority, Stephanie McMahon has already named Kane, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton to team up for the main event. It is still unclear if Orton will be available Nov. 23 as he is reportedly set to begin shooting for the movie, Condemned 2. Several other fighters such as Rusev and Mark Henry have also expressed interest of teaming up for the Rollins-led heel side.
