This short video begins with the father seated by a desk inspecting mail when his eyes falls on a harmless-looking tube and picks it up. As he opens it, glitter explodes all over the desk and leaves the father stunned, prompting him to utter a single expletive. He bangs on the desk using both hands and proceeds to clean up the mess, scraping the glitter from various objects and blowing off the residue. He says another expletive as he does so. The video closes with a slow-motion footage of the climactic moment when the father opens the tube's lid. The total runtime is 1 minute and 9 seconds.

"My dad always reads my mail so I decided to teach him a lesson by sending a glitter bomb to myself from ruindays.com," edamame wrote in the video's description.
