Uh-oh Miley seems like her VMA performance did affect her 'career' in a way.

Before her MTV Music Video Awards' performance, Miley Cyrus, 20 years old, was deemed fit for the cover of Vogue America. Vogue's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, had wanted to make Miley the cover of their Vogue December cover. The editor was sure that she was starting to become a fashion icon---that was until she performed her raunchy latex wearing controversy at the VMAs.

Miley Cyrus had already be photographed for the December issue of Vogue but after her performance, the Vogue boss, Wintour, had thought of it as a 'distasteful act' and had the Disney star out of the running for the Vogue cover.

A source had said that Wintour had decided to do something else with the December issue of Vogue.

"Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley's performance, to take the cover in a different direction."

Most girls would have been distraught by the fact that they have been removed from "Vogue" but Miley seemed to be okay with it. After the news of her being 'fired' from the magazine as their December cover was released, Miley posted a photo herself on her Twitter account with the following hashtags "'#TomFord #vintagechanel #breakinouttheLoubz #germany'"

The "We Can't Stop" singer also posted another photo while posing with dwarf performers and was looking sexy. Seems like she doesn't mind not being on the prestigious magazine cover. Miley's album is said to be launched in a few months, the "Bangerz" album will include her up and coming single "Wrecking all". The star had already tweeted the promotional photo for the single, which shows her on a wrecking ball wearing what she normally wears-cropped top, shorts, docmartens and her tongue-out pose.
