The Voice Australia 2013 "Showdowns" continue Sunday night, with contestants from Team Seal and Team Ricky Martin. Here is a recap of and speculations based on how the performances turned out. Did your favourite Aussie contestant perform well?

Team Seal: Mitchell Anderson, Nicholas Roy, Jac Stone, Shawn Kirke

Mitchell Anderson was first to perform with "The Letter" by Joe Cocker. Seal mentors him by encouraging him to bring some sexy energy to The Voice Australia stage. Mitchell tried to be sexy, but he is actually bordering on awkward. There are fine moments in his number, though. Still, it is too soon to tell whether he could have a good chance at winning out against the rest of Team Seal contestants.

Nicholas Roy took on "The Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley. Seal wants him to aim big, or basically go for the win. It must be the pressure of trying hard for the "big" goal that made Nicholas Roy's a little too unnatural during most parts.

Jac Stone dishes Suzanne Vega's "Luka," but fails to impress judge Delta Goodrem. The oft-criticized judge points out a certain lack of connection between Jac and the audience. It must be noted, though, that Jac is among the early The Voice favourites.

Shawn Kirke took on "The Last Request" by Paolo Nutini. It almost sounds too karaoke. He does not seem to be the guy who sent home Sarah Martin during the Battle Rounds. It will be surprising if Shawn gets through after this number.

Overall, Team Seal is likely to move forward with Mitchell and Jac. The former could be saved by the judges; the latter, public votes.

Team Ricky: Caterina Torres, James Walker, Emma Pask, Luke Kennedy

Caterina Torres sang "If I Were a Boy" by Beyonce. Finally! Here's a contestant really trying to win The Voice Australia 2013. She sounds cool, relaxed, and confident. Pretty convincing, Ms Torres. Mentor Ricky Martin is mighty proud of his talent.

James Walker covered The Killers' "Mr. Brightside." James neither at the best or the worst of the grading scale. He's somewhere between B and C, but he's not so bad. There are little moments when his voice gave some promise, but overall it's one notch above lackluster.

Emma Pask performed "Mas que Nada" by Jorge Ben. Her vocals is quite impressive. Good job, Ricky Martin, for saving this girl after Joel Madden chose Lyric McFarland over her during The Voice Battle Rounds.

Luke Kennedy bravely sang "Con te partirò" by Andrea Bocelli. Here's another promising contestant. Someone has got to be either great or delusional to take on a Bocelli song in a competition, but Luke is showing he's got the chops for it. He sounds very commercial, too.

It's anyone's game in Team Ricky. Well, at least for most of the contestants. It seems only James Walker is not in his best vocal form tonight.
