The fourth and final coach for the new “The Voice Australia” has yet to be confirmed. Some of the rumoured judges include Ronan Keating and Miley Cyrus.
Boy George, frontman of the Culture Club, was previously in “The Voice UK” Season 5, sitting alongside Will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Paloma Faith as judges. The singer said that he is very excited to appear on “The Voice Australia” soon, because he knows that the contestants can take some banter. He added that his appearance in “The Voice UK” was a warm up and he will soon be ready to sprinkle some “pop-tastic glitter dust” all over the show when it returns. He teased that he will not hold back on his comments.
Boy George is a highly anticipated judge on “The Voice Australia” and is expected to add some flavour to the show. His band is currently on tour in Australia.
Joel Madden has been a judge on “The Voice Australia” since it started, while his brother Benji served as a coach in Season 4. The brothers were coaches on “The Voice Kids Australia,” as well. Their band, Good Charlotte, is scheduled for several performances in 2017, which may be among the reasons why they cannot judge soon. Joel said that it is currently difficult to determine whether they will be back, but they are grateful for being on “The Voice Australia” in the past five years.
“The Voice Australia” will air on Channel 9 in 2017. The network only asked viewers to stay tuned for further announcements regarding the fourth coach. Insiders, however, said that Nine is looking for a huge international artist to sit in the panel, writes News.com. More updates and details are expected soon. Meanwhile, let’s watch Boy George perform with one of the finalists on “The Voice UK.”
