“The Voice Australia” contestant Jayde Grey slammed the show after she was booted out. Coach Kylie Minogue tried to save her from elimination, but the show opted not to air it during the battle round showdown on Monday.

After a showdown with fellow contestant Louise Van Veenendaal, the aspiring singer was let go from the show, despite getting three of the coaches’ support.

Unfortunately for her, their team coach, will.i.am, chose to go with Louise, which meant Jayde’s elimination.

Jayde said that Kylie tried to save her, but the Aussie international star pushed her buzzer outside the five second time limit. Viewers wouldn’t know that, though, because the show did not air that portion, which saddens the eliminated singer.

“I’d have to think about that (going on a reality show again),” she told AAP.

“It was a really crazy experience and I don’t particularly like the fact that what happened wasn’t shown to the public. I don’t care that I missed out but I think it was something that should have been shown.”

The incident has left 19-year-old Jayde disappointed and wary of joining another reality singing show again.

At the time of the show’s taping, Jayde said she wasn’t aware that Kylie’s effort was disregarded.

“At the time I had no idea it was outside the time limit and the audience there didn’t realise either,” she continued. “Kylie said, ‘you can play that back and you can see I pushed it,’ and she was like, ‘I’m sorry.’

“Even will.i.am was trying to override the decision.

“I did feel a little bit duped, but at the same time I understand it’s the format and they have to stick to it.”

A Nine Network rep confirmed that Kylie did indeed try to save her, but time constraints forced them to cut it out.

“They (the judges) have a five second time limit and in Jayde’s case, Kylie pressed her button after the lockout and was too late to save her,” the spokeswoman emailed AAP.

“We rarely show the process when an artist isn’t saved as we simply don’t have the time.”

Louise, meanwhile, also has an issue with the coaches after they deemed her scary.

The showdown performance of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You’ve Been Gone” had Kylie, will, Joel Madden and Ricky Martin laughing after seeing Louise’s full-on performance.

Kylie thought it was “entertaining,” though she had to stop in giving her assessment momentarily because she couldn’t contain her laughter.

Joel said that it was “a battle,” while Ricky thought she was going to “whip” them all.

Louise got mentor will’s support, but she was still hurt by how she was perceived in the show.

“I don’t think it was awful, but I don’t think it was my best,” she told Confidential.

“It’s hard. It’s the way it’s edited. I’m not crazy and eccentric. I like to have fun with my work.

“I’m a real person and I have real feelings. I worry sometimes that people are seeing me as the big bad wolf. People think I’m a mean and a horrible person. I’m not. I’m different to everyone on the show. I like to entertain and do things my way.”
