"The Voice Australia" Season 3 (2014) has reached its final stage. The show is set to air its much-awaited grand finale next week. But before that, the show aired enthralling and entertaining Semifinal in Episode 22. Show's fourth Live Show featured the performances by top 8 artists and eliminations, revealing the top 5/finalists of "The Voice Australia" Season 3 (2014). The four coaches- Will.I.Am, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue and Joel Madden- bid goodbye to some of their team members and welcomed some in finals. The Voice Australia Season 3 (2014) Semifinals Episode 22 Live Shows- Part 4: Performance Recap and Spoilers
On July 14, top 8 contestants of the show performed for the semifinals round to win the votes of the viewers at home and enter the final round to claim the most coveted trophy. Along with the performances of the semifinalists, Episode 22 Live Show-Part 4 also featured some special guest performances.
"The Voice Australia" Semifinals kicked off with a performance by artists from Team Kylie. The show was opened with duet performance by Kat Jade and Johnny Rollins. The duo performed "Kids" by Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams.
The next performance was delivered by Sabrina Batshon and Jackson Thomas from Team Ricky. The pair sang rendition of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart." They were followed by Team Will's artists Anja Nissen and ZK. The duo mesmerized the audience with their performance of Gotye's "Somebody I Used to Know."
The show continued with a surprise performance of "The Voice Australia" Season 3 artists and "The Voice Kids." Together they sang Imagine Dragons hit number "On Top of the World.
The show then continued with individual performances by the remaining contestants. Contestants from Team Ricky took over the stage one after the other. Jackson Thomas sang Cold Chisel's "When the War is Over." He was followed by Sabrina Batshon, who sang Jessie J's "Who You Are."
Next in the line were contestants from Team Joel. Frank Lakoudis sang Guns N' Roses hit classic "Sweet Child O' Mine." He Was followed by Holly Tapp singing Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good."
Contestants from Team Kylie took over next. Kat Jade sang CATS' "Memory." Johnny Rollins sang Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman."
At the end, the show saw the performances by artists from Team Will. Anja Nissen belted out impressive rendition of Whitney Houston ballad "I Have Nothing." She was followed by ZK's rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin.'"
The Voice Australia Season 3 (2014) Semifinals Episode 22 Live Shows- Part 4: Results and Elimination Recap and Spoilers
As per the traditional format, only four contestants would have entered "The Voice Australia" Season 3 (2014) Finals. However, the show introduced a twist that allows viewers at home to vote for a singer who they would want to see in the Grand Finals in the fifth spot. Anja Nissen from Team Will earned the position of the first ever fifth finalist. Others who have entered the finals are: Johnny Rollins (Team Kylie), Jackson Thomas (Team Ricky), Frank Lakoudis (Team Joel), ZK (Team Will).
