"The Voice Australia" Season 3 (2014) has entered its Battles Round. After facing the challenges of blind auditions, the contestants were selected in the teams of the four judges- Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, Will.i.am and Joel Madden. Artists from these four teams will compete against each other through battle rounds and live shows. The real competition begins now and things start to get exciting. 'The Voice Australia' Season 3 (2014) Battle Rounds

Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, Will. I.Am and Joel Madden, all the four coaches, formed a team with 14 artists each in it. In The Battles, two artists from each team are paired up together to sing the same song. During this round, the artist who manages to impress their coach will move on to the next level and the one who loses is eliminated from the competition. Each coach gets two opportunities to steal artists from other team. This gives a losing artist another chance in the competition.

On May 25, 2014, The Battles kicked off and set of six artists performed. Out of 12, six artists won the round and proceeded to the next level and other two were saved by Ricky Martin and Joel Madden.

On May 26, 2014 The Battles- Part 2 took place and sets of seven artists competed.

The show kicked off with the performance from Anja Nissan and Sarah Hamad. They sang "When Love Takes Over" by Kelly Rowland.

Next to compete were artists from Team Joel. Doug Williams and Dallas James sang "Hey Brother" by Avicii. They were followed by Team Kylie. Candice Skjonnemand and Thando Sikwila performed "Clown" by Emilie Sande.

Next was Team Ricky. Brandon Duff was paired up with Gabriel and Cecilia and they performed "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. Josh McDonald and Scotty Gelzinniz from the same team took over the stage to perform "High and Dry" by Radiohead.

Taila Gouge and Annabelle Eve from Team Joel sang "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. Last performance of the night was by Team Will.I.Am. Louise Van Veenendaal and Jayde Grey performed Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone."

Team Kylie: Candice Skjonnemand defeated Thando Sikwila. Thando was stolen by Coach Ricky Martin.

Team Will.I.Am: Anja Nissen defeated Sarah Hamad and Louise Van Veenendaal defeated Jayde Grey.

Team Joel: Doug Williams defeated Dallas James and Taila Gouge defeated Annabelle Eve.

Team Ricky: Brandon Duff defeated Gabriel and Cecilia. They were stolen by Coach Will.I.Am. Josh McDonald defeated Scotty Gelzinniz.
