‘The Voice’ Recap: Adam Levine Loses His Whole Team
As "The Voice" is near to its end, Adam Levine loses his whole team. Two hopeful contestants were sent packing this Tuesday which sadly left coach Adam no man for his team.
On Tuesday night, Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown, the two remaining members of Adam Levine's team got the lowest votes. The two were sent packing and Adam was left with no singer in his circle.
While there is utter disappointment with the results, hugs were passed around and the two female contestants didn't fail to thank all their supporters.
"This is beyond what I've ever dreamed. I'm just so happy that I got to express who I am as an artist and touch people's hearts," Melanie Martinez said.
Now with only two weeks left before the season finale, Team Blake and Team Cee Lo faces against each other. Cee Lo has Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David on his team while Blake remains confident with Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope. The four contestants remain as this season's semifinalists.
Last Tuesday night, the contestants were paired for some friendly sing off. Brown and Pope made their rendition of Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway," David and Martinez sang Fiona Apple's "Criminal," while the show's standout was Hunte and McDermott's performance of One Republic's "Feel Again."
The iTunes singles chart also became a pretty good indicator of who has a strong hold before the episode aired and the results were revealed.
The previous episode of "The Voice" also had some show-stopping performances from Ne-Yo and Matchbox Twenty. Ne-Yo performed "Let Me Love You" while Matchbox brought some romance with their latest single "Overjoyed."
Early predictions show that the finals will be down to Trevin Hunte and Cassadee Pope. But while the show still has two weeks, viewers should just hold on to their seats.
