Set to premiere on September 23, 2013 on NBC, The Voice season 5 marks the continuation of the ongoing bromance of coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee lo Green will be reunited with the team, and Carson Daly will return to be the host of the show.

The Voice Season 5

The four coaches will battle it out for the show's season 5 where Shelton's ego is bigger than ever after winning three seasons, and the bromance is hotter than ever as the duo shared a smooch. The sparks is still burning and very much alive after 4 seasons, and the guys will make it even hotter as the contestants are better than ever.

NBC recently released The Voice season 5 trailer featuring the return of the two original coaches, a sweet reunion of the original cast of the show; the full-blown bromance of Adam and Blake; and a wide range of talented constestants. The trailer also features Blake showing off his three trophies as he brags about his previous winnings and offers one contestant three reasons why is he the best mentor among the three coaches.

"Well, I understand that I am coming back to the Blake Shelton show at this point," Aguilera quipped at the Summer TCA press tour last month.

There is no doubt that one of the show's strength is the good camaraderie of its coaches and bromance competition between Adam and Blake. The show also features Christina's new chic look as she serves up the sass more than ever this season.

Season 5 also brings new assistant coaches for the battle grounds. Adam Levine brought in Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic's lead singer; Blake Shelton brought in the legendary vocalist, Cher; Christina Aguilera brought in Ed Sheeran; and finally, Cee Lo brought in Miguel.

The blind audition was taped from July 9 to July 12, while the battle grounds was taped on August 13 and 14. The Voice knockouts for season 5 was taped on August 22 and 23. Christina Millian will be returning in the show due to her "Dancing with the stars" competition.
