‘The Voice’ Season 5 Recap: Top 12 Performances, Matthew Schuler in iTunes Top 10 and 'Instant Save' Is Here
"The Voice" season 5 is slowly advancing to its final stage. The battle has begun, the ground is set and contestants are doing their best to win the audiences' heart since votes are all that they have to save them. After the top 20 elimination we are down to top 12 and these top 12 delivered a night full of entertainment on Nov.11 in episode 15 week 2 "Live Playoffs."
All the top 12 performances wowed thus predicting who makes it to the top 10 game is quite difficult. Fans of the show "The Voice" seemed to have loved Matthew Schuler. He sang Hallelujah and has also received the iTunes bonus where his votes are multiplied by five. This feature multiplies the votes by five for the artist whose song figures in iTunes top 10.

Competing in top 12 were three contestants from each team.
In Team Cee Lo, we had Caroline Pennell performing "Wake me up," by Avicii, Kat Robichaud sang "Sail" by AWOLNATION and Jonny Gray performed on "Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins.
In Team Adam, we had James Wolpert's performance rocking the stage with "Mr. Brightside" by Killers. Tessanne Chin performed "My Kind of Love" By Emeli Sande and Will Champlin doing "Demons" by Imagine Dragons.
In Team Christina, Matthew Schuler gave a stunning performance with "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen that got him iTunes Bonus. Jacquie Lee performed on "Love is Blindness" by U2 and Josh Logan did "Man in the Mirror," by Michael Jackson.
In Team Blake, we had Austin Jenckes performing on "It's Great Day to be Alive" by Travis Tritt. Ray Boudreaux did "All of me" by John Legend and Cole Vosbury became one of the favourites of the fans with "Adorn" by Miguel.
As the results are soon expected, "The Voice" season 5 will be narrowing down to top 10 based on public voting.
And an interesting feature "Instant Save" was introduced with the elimination episode this week and will be used in future elimination episodes of Nov. 19, Nov 26 and Dec. 23.

The eliminations in the past weeks of "The Voice" season 5 has left us with only four female artists and eight male artists.
