"The Voice" season 5 is now down to just 10 contestants as it faced elimination round unlike that of in previous weeks. Week 2 of "Live Playoffs" brought with it a lot of excitement. Along with scintillating performances of top 12 for the first time public got to save one from the bottom three through the new feature "Instant Save." And now we have "The Voice" season 5's top 10 contestants who have entered week 3 of "Live Shows" round. Another week, another challenge!

'The Voice' Season 5, Week 2 Eliminations Episode [Spoilers and Recap]

From this week onwards the elimination process changed a little bit. Unlike before, where coaches had power to save their team members, this week the ultimate power that decided the destiny of the contestants vested in the hands of the public. We also had a new feature "Instant Save" which could be used by the public to save one from the bottom three with a five minutes Save window. Five minutes save window was opened to save one contestant that public thinks deserve to stay. During that time twitter users could tweet artist's voting keyword along with the show's hashtag.

The show kick started its tense eliminations episodes with Grammy Award-nominated singer Sara Bareilles' performance on her song "Brave." Supporting her in her efforts to lighten up the mood and fill contestants with some motivation were "The Voice" contestants Kat Robichaud, Caroline Pennell, Jacquiee Lee and Tessanne Chin.

For the first time on the stage of "The Voice" season 5 we also had Coach Cee Lo Green performing for his team a song by The B-52 "Roam."

The next performance was by the eight remaining men of "The Voice." Will Champlin, Cole Vosbury, Austin Jenckes, James Wolpert, Ray Boudreaux, Josh Logan, Jonny Gray and Matthew Schuler together performed "We're an American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad.

And then we had Coach Adam Levine and his team who sang "A Hard Day's Night" by Beatles to our delight.
