After facing double eliminations of The Voice Season 5 Week 3, top 8 contestants were revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013. After incredible top 10 performances of this week, two of the talents were sent home. While public voting decided who will be eliminated this week, new feature "Instant Save" did come to the rescue of one of the bottom three contestants. The Voice Season 5 Week 3 Eliminations: Top 8 revealed [Spoilers and Recap]

While some contestants of The Voice Season 5 have already won the hearts of the public, some are still struggling to win votes from the viewers. On Tuesday, The Voice Season 5 bid goodbye to two of the talents after the public voted them off.

The four coaches-Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green-now have no power in their hand to save their team. The contestants are completely at the mercy of public votes. "Instant Save" the last minute savior of the contestant is also based on voting on twitter by the twitter users having public account.

The Voice Season 5 Week 3 Eliminations Episode

The night started with an enthralling performance by Team Christina who presented a medley of songs by Michael and Janet Jackson. Jacquie Lee and Mathew Schuler sang "Black Cat" by Janet Jackson, "Bad" by Michael Jackson and "Scream" by Michael and Janet Jackson. Following the performance, Carson Daly announced that this was the best team performance in the show's history.

Also, host Carson Daly confirmed that the swirling rumours about Adam Levine being selected as People's "Sexiest Man of The Year," were true by showing the magazine cover.

Some of the other performances of the night included Team Adam's Will Champlin's and James Wolpert's performance of "Sugar We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy. The two boys performed this song with Team Cee Lo's Kat Robichaud. Coach Blake Shelton along with his team performed "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top and Tessanne Chin and Caroline Pennell performed "Royals" by Lorde.

The Voice Season 5 Eliminations: Top 8 Revealed

After the top 10 performance episode and performances of the eliminations night, the episode came to the crucial moment. Top 8 contestants of The Voice Season 5 were finally revealed.

The Top 8 includes:

Team Adam- James Wolpert, Will Chmaplin and Tessanne Chin

Team Christina- Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee

Team Blake- Cole Vosbury and Ray Boudreaux

Team Cee Loo- Caroline Pennell who was saved by "Instant Save"

Eliminated Contestants:

Team Blake- Austin Jenckes

Team Cee Lo- Kat Robichaud
