Last night, viewers were introduced to the new round in the competition. Replacing the knockout rounds, The Battles, Round 2 made a debut where the four judges—Shakira, Adam Levine, Usher and Blake Shelton—were joined by Chris Martin who is the common advisor to all the teams on “The Voice” season 6 (2014). While the coaches/judges continue to mentor and judge the artists, and the contestants continue to battle against each other to move on to the next level, tonight. 'The Voice' Season 6 (2014) The Battles, Round 2

"The Voice" season 6 (2014) episode 14 saw the beginning of The Battles, Round 2. In this round, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will mentor the four teams, unlike previous battle rounds which had four different celebrity mentors for each team. Each artist will be paired with another within the team. The pairs will then be given a list of songs and choose one song to perform. The artist who wins the round will head to the next level and the losing artist will head back home. Also, each coach will be given a chance to "steal" the losing artist of other teams, but just once. 'The Voice' Season 6 (2014) Week 6 The Battles, Round 2 Night 2 Episode 15: Performance Recap (Spoilers)

First up on "The Voice" season 6 (2014) week 6 The Battles, Round 2 night 2 episode 15, artists from Team Blake performed. Sisaundra Lewis was paired up with Biff Gore. The two of them performed "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" by James Brown. Both of them were highly praised by the four judges.

Next up on the "The Voice" season 6 (2014) The Battles, Round 2 night 2 episode 15 were artists from Team Shakira. Deja Hall and Ddendyl were paired up together. They chose to sing "Say Something" by a Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. They were addressed with suggestions to improve their work by Shakira and Chris Martin.

Next on the stage of "The Voice" season 6 (2014) were Kristen Merlin and Emily B. from Team Shakira. Two of them sang "I Can Love You Better" by Dixie Chicks.

The last pair to perform on "The Voice" season 6 (2014) week 6 The Battles, Round 2 night 2 episode 15 was of the artists from Team Usher. Stevie Jo and Morgan Wallen performed "Story of My Life" by One Direction. The two of them were well appreciated for their performance.
