‘The Voice’ Season 6 (2014) Finale Spoilers: And the Winner is... [Recap]
Finally, the winner of "The Voice" Season 6 (2014) has been revealed. America has given their verdict and fans know who the next 'Voice' of their nation is. After three months of rigorous hard work, enthralling performances, shocking eliminations, the winner of the Emmy Award winning reality singing competition was announced on May 20, 2014. Competing in the finals were Christina Grimmie from Team Adam, Josh Kaufman from Team Usher and Jake Worthington from Team Blake. The winner was decided by viewers who voting after the voting lines were opened for the performances delivered by top 3 finalists during "The Voice" Season 6 (2014) Finale-Day 1. They voted for their favorite artists until the lines were closed on Tuesday. The singer who garnered highest number of votes was crowned as the winner of the show. 'The Voice' Season 6 (2014) Finals/ Finale-Day 1
On May 19, 2014, viewers witnessed 9 back to back performances by top 3 finalists who were joined by their respective coaches for duet song performances. Christina Grimmie, Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman took over the stage one after the other for public's last votes.
Christina Grimmie from Team Adam kicked off the finale with her cover of Miley Cyrus' "The Wrecking Ball" as her reprise song performance. As for her duet with Coach Adam Levine, she sang "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra. Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" was her choice for the solo performance.
Josh Kaufman from Team Usher performed Stevie Wonder's classic "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" as his reprise song. Usher joined him for the duet performance of Police's "Every Breath You Take." For his solo performances, Josh performed "Set Fire to the Rain."
Country teen Jake Worthington, sang "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Keith Whitley. He performed "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr. along with Coach Blake Shelton for the duet round. For his solo performance, he sang "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx.
"The Voice" Season 6 (2014) Finale-Day 2 [Results Episode]
On May 20, 2014, "The Voice" Season 6 hosted a star studded gala event. Much-awaited finale saw some scintillating performances by sixth season's contestants, coaches and celebrity guests. Towards the end of the show the winner was announced. Scroll down to find out the name of the winner.
'The Voice' Season 6 (2014) Grand Finale: Performances by Top 3 Finalists, Celebrities [Spoilers, Recap]
Host Carson Daly took the stage and first talked about the iTunes downloads glitch. He announced that downloads won't be counted in the votes.
Grand finale then kicked off with the first performance of the night. Setting stage on fire was former "The Voice" advisor, Ryan Tedder and his band One Republic. They sang their latest single "Love Runs Out."
The coaches then took over the stage and Adam Levine promised a record deal to Christina Grimmie, whether she wins the contest or not. After that, Country boy Jake was joined by some eliminated "The Voice" Season 6 contestants. Jake, Kat Perkins, Kristen Merlin, Audra McLaughlin, Ryan Whyte Maloney and Morgan Wallen together sang "Summertime" by Kenny Chesney."
Next to perform was another former "The Voice" advisor Ed Sheeran. The 23-year-old English artist was joined by finalist Christina Grimmie and they together sang "All of the Stars."
Some more former contestants made a comeback to "The Voice" stage. Jake Barker, Delvin Choice, Patrick Thompson, Stevie Jo and Morgan Wallen together sang "She's Gone" by Hall & Oates.
Country artist Justin Moore surprised the crowd with his surprise performance. He sang his single "Lettin the Night Roll." Next performance was by another "The Voice" Season 6 (2014) finalist. Team Usher's Josh Kaufman brought back T.J. Wilkins, Stevie Jo and Sisaundra Lewis to the stage to sing "Am I Wrong" by Nico and Vinz.
Ed Sheeran got back on the stage for a solo performance this time. "Lego House" hitmaker sang "Sing."
"The Voice" Season 6 (2014) Finale was a delightful treat for music lovers. Jake Worthington sang "Mountain Music" with Alabama. Taking over the stage next was all-female contestants' group. Dani Moz, Tess Boyer, Melissa Jimenez, Madilyn Paige and Deja Hall together sang "Umbrella" by Rihanna.
The show unveiled yet another surprise celebrity guest performance. Singer/songwriter Robin Thicke took the stage with Josh Kaufman and sang "Get Her Back." Robin also happens to be former "The Voice" mentor.
Country singer Tim McGraw took the stage to perform "City Lights." Next were Christina Grimmie, Jake Barker, Tess Boyer and Bria Kelly to perform and they sang "Team" by Lorde.
This season's common advisor returned with his band to perform on the finale night. Chris Martin with his band Coldplay sang "Sky Full of Stars."

After two-part finale and two-hour grand finale, "The Voice" Season 6 (2014) winner was announced.
