'The Voice' Season 6 Coach Winner Usher True to His Word, Shares Half-naked Selfie
The neck and neck battle in "The Voice" Season 6 between the three remaining contestants ended with a big win for Usher last Tuesday. However, before Josh Kaufman won the coveted spot, Usher has promised the show's fans proof that he cooks while wearing only his underwear, according to E! Online.
Usher shared in his Facebook account: "If Josh Kaufman WINS The Voice...I will prove I cook in my underwear!" This motivation for the fans did work as Josh reigned supreme, even beating the two seasoned coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton who have two and three trophies respectively.
True to his word, the second timer judge of the popular show shared in his Instagram account of him cooking breakfast while only wearing his black underwear. The "Bad Girl" singer bares his toned body while cooking eggs and smiling for the camera. He even captioned the picture: "Alright #TeamUsher, I'm a man of his word! How do you like your eggs?"
Other than sharing a photo, he also uploaded a video and in the background one could see the banner with hashtags #TeamUsher and #Winning. The video is captioned: "The most important meal of the day right here - Cooked up by ya boy Ursher #Winning."
Winning in the 6th season of the show may be a reason for Usher to go back to defend his title, although he will not be back on the show this coming season. Season 7 will welcome new coaches Pharell Williams and Gwen Stefani.
Usher is not only celebrating his big win in "The Voice" Season 6 but also because of the recent ruling on the copyright infringement lawsuit filed against him, the Billboard reports. The case against Usher and 19 others was filed by Dan Marino, not the quarterback legend, on the grounds that "Bad Girl" was based on "Club Girl."
The "U Got It Bad" singer will be working on his new album which may be the reason why he is taking off time from the show. Usher might be optimistic of coming back to "The Voice" while fellow coach Shakira is not, E Online reports.
