"The Voice" hosted its second round of Battles of the Season 7 (2014) on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. The show saw some mesmerising performances, tough decision-making, eliminations and steals. Meanwhile, coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton continue to be part of the show as mentors and judges and are joined by guest advisors Stevie Nicks, Gavin Rossdale, Alicia Keys and Little Big Town. "The Voice" Season 7 (2014) Battle Rounds

In the Blind Auditions, coaches build a 12-member team each, which will narrow down to the team of six after the Battles eliminations. During this round, each coach pairs up two members of the team to perform the same song. The better performer wins the round and stays in the team, while the other one is sent home. If that eliminated performer has managed to impress another judge on the panel, then he may even get stolen and recruited on a new team.

The show kicked off with the performance by contestants from Team Pharrell. Jordy Searcy was paired with Taylor Phelan. The two sang "Break Even" by The Script. (Scroll down for the results.)

Next up were artists from team Adam. Alessandro Castronovo was put up against Joe Kirk. They sang "Stay" by Rihanna.

Rebekah Samarin and Clara Hong from Team Adam performed next. They sang "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by Carole King.

Next up on "The Voice" Season 7 (2014) stage were contestants from Team Blake. Grant Ganzer and John Martin performed "Stop and Stare" by One Republic.

Tanner Linford and Justin Johnes from the same team performed "You & I" by One Direction.

Last to perform on Battles- Part 2 were Troy Ritchie and Menlik Zergabachew from Team Gwen. They performed "Maneater" by Hall and Oates.

Team Pharrell: Taylor Phelan defeated Jordy Searcy.

Team Adam: Alessandro Castronovo defeated Joe Kirk.

Rebekah Samarin defeated Clara Hong.

Tanner Linford defeated Justin Johnes

Team Gwen: Troy Ritchie defeated Menlik Zergabachew, who was later stolen by Coach Pharrell Williams.
