"The Voice" featured its third round of Battles of the Season 7 (2014) on Tuesday, Oct. 20. A set of six contestants performed while the four judges--Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton--judged their performances and conducted eliminations. "The Voice" Season 7 (2014) Battle Rounds

During the battles, the coaches pair up two of their team members to perform the same song. The better performer advances to the next level of the competition. Meanwhile, the other contestant is either eliminated or recruited/stolen by the other judge. The latter is possible only if the contestant manages to impress the coaches.

The show kicked off with a performance by contestants from Team Adam, Damien Lawson and Kelli Douglas. The singers perform "Knock on Wood" by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas. Scroll down for results.

Next to perform were artists from Team Gwen. Ryan Sill was pitted against Jessie Pitts. He performed "Need Your Love" by Ellie Goulding. This round saw the first steal of the night.

Up next were contestants from Team Pharrell. Katriz Trinidad and Blessing Offor performed "Do I Do" by Stevie Wonder.

After that were contestants from Team Adam. Ethan Butler was paired with Matt McAndrew. The two performed "Yellow" by Coldplay.

Contestants from Team Blake performed next. Bree Fondacaro was paired up with Taylor Brashears. The two sang "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt.

The last pair to perform was from Team Pharrell. Toia Hones was paired up against DaNica Shirey. They sang "Halo" by Beyonce.

Team Adam: Damien Lawson defeated Kelli Douglas and moved on the Knockout round. Matt McAndrew also won the round.

Team Gwen: Ryan Sill defeated Jessie Pitts. Pitts was later stolen by Coach Blake Shelton.

Team Blake: Taylor Brashears defeated Bree. Consequently, the former ended his "The Voice" journey.

Team Pharrell: Katriz Trinidad defeated Blessing Offor, who was later recruited on Team Adam. DaNica Shirey also won the battle and Toia was recruited on Team Adam.

"The Voice" Season 7 (2014) will return with Battle Rounds Part 4 on Oct. 21. The show airs at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.
