Daryl Dixon is a fan-favourite character played by Norman Reedus. Also, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman revealed that his favourite element of the TV show is certainly Daryl Dixon. Robert is set to feature in "The Writer's Room" on Sundance TB on Friday.

In the preview clip for "The Writer's Room," shared by Comicbook.com, Robert talked about Norman Reedus' character Daryl Dixon being his favourite in the show.

"Daryl Dixon is my favourite element of the television show," said Robert, adding, "And when we saw Norman Reedus, all of the producers kind of got together, and we were like, 'We love this guy. We've got to get him in the show somehow.' And so suddenly, Merle had a brother named Daryl."

In the preview, when it is stated that Norman doesn't know whether his character dies or not, Robert seemed to agree.

Robert shared that Norman is always quite nervous about that time he sees the comic book creator and executive producer of "The Walking Dead." Norman asks if he is doing fine in "The Walking Dead" Season 5.

The show is known to not follow the comic books to a tee as it is the remix version of the books. It can be said that no one really knows who lives or dies in the upcoming Season 5 of "The Walking Dead."

Talking about "The Walking Dead" Season 5, showrunner Scott Gimple appeared in "Larry King Now" and talked about the show and Season 5.

Scott mentioned that the first half of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 will focus on intensity and action. Also, when Larry asked if fans can expect more actual than usual in the upcoming season, this was Scott's reply.

"The story that we're telling demands it. We're not going to shy away from character, but the balance will be a little more toward action."

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 airs this October on AMC.
