Hit television series "Walking Dead" is on the clear, at least for now.

The dispute over the authorship of the comic book, upon which the series was based, was resolved in an "amicable settlement" between the series creator Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, who served as an illustrator for the book.

"Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore are pleased to jointly announce that they have reached an amicable agreement in their respective lawsuits and all parties have settled the entire matter to everyone's mutual satisfaction," read the statement sent to the International Business Times in an e-mail.

"Neither side will be discussing any details but will instead happily and productively spend their time focused on their own work and move on in their lives."

Last month, Moore sued Kirkman over the authorship off "Walking Dead" and other works. He took to court for "declaratory judgment" and accused Kirkman as a "proud liar". Krikman, in a counter-suit, alleged Moore was "over paid."
