"The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 8, "Too Far Gone" is not too far. The good thing about "TWD" mid-season finale episodes is that it has always been superb in terms of story development. However, the bad thing is that we have to wait for a very long time for the next episode.

On Dec. 1, 2013, "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 8, mid-season finale, titled "Too Far Gone" will air. We will have to wait until February 2014 for the aftermath, for the damage that will be done on Dec. 1.

Are you ready?

"The Walking Dead' Season 4 Episode 8, 'Too Far Gone' Synopsis

"After things begin to calm at the prison, Rick and the group face imminent danger."

The "imminent danger" can be The Governor and his team.

Will the Governor Behead Someone This Time?

The beheading is in reference to the Tyreese episode in the comic book. The Governor gains control over Tyreese and uses him to force the prison members to allow him and his Woodbury group to enter in the prison. Rick clan refuses and the Governor uses Michonne's katana to behead Tyreese.

TWD Enthusiasts reported in July that a tank was spotted on the set at the prison. The locals heard a loud boom. It is possible that the Governor attacks the prison with the tank leading to a huge loss of life. In "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 7, the Gov. is seen with a tank.

"The midseason finale is the biggest thing we've attempted, I think, so far in our show. I think the crew, and Ernest Dickerson, who directed it, everybody busted their guts to do that episode. Darrell Pritchett, who does the special effects - he's the man with the dynamite, was the busiest man I've ever seen. It was thrilling. Just thrilling. It just felt like an incredibly exciting episode. And then in the [final eight of the season], it's like we're spinning out into orbit, and it's a completely new show. It's really, really exciting," Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) shared with Yahoo.

"I will say that we just wrapped the mid-season finale last night of The Walking Dead, mind-blowing. Minds are going to blow up, it's so crazy, it's so good. We thought last season was real good. This season's crazy good. It's nuts, you'll love it," Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) shared about episode 8 at the Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago.

"The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 8, "Too Far Gone" airs on Dec. 1 on AMC at 9 pm ET. It will be exciting for sure. Kaboom, we say.
