‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Mid-Season Finale Aftermath: Maggie Greene (Spoilers!)
The only character that can share the bada** title with Daryl Dixon is our Maggie Greene. She's hot and she's intelligent. You hand over a weapon in her hands and she can show you how to kill the dead ones. In season 4 episode 5, "Internment," Maggie Greene was her daddy's wing-man. Hershel treated the sick ones. Maggie, the only healthy person in the prison, made sure the walkers are not near the prison barricade. When Rick came back, she helped her father and Glenn Rhee.
"The Walking Dead" season 4 mid-season finale saw Maggie Greene's bada** side. She was disturbed after the Governor beheaded her father Hershel. Yet, she maintained her calm and told Beth Greene to get everyone on the bus. Later, she left to look for Beth and ended up meeting Sasha. She helped Sasha and Bob Stookey. On the other hand, Glenn and Maggie were separated. He was on the bus and Beth was with Daryl.
If we look at the comic books, things are a tad bit different. Unlike the TV show, Glenn and Maggie are together after the prison war in comic books. However, she loses Beth, Hershel as well as one her brothers.
Glenn and Maggie soon reconnect with Rick, Michonne and Carl. They all head to Greene family farm. Maggie is upset because of losing all her dear ones, and she tries to commit suicide by hanging. Glenn cuts the rope and tries to save her. Abraham (new character) tries to kill her just to ensure she doesn't turns into a walker. Maggie is alive and later regrets her decision to end her life.
In comics, Sophia is still alive and Glenn and Maggie are taking care of her. New characters - Abraham, Rosita and Eugene will also appear on the TV show.
Maggie would be looking for Glenn in the second half of "The Walking Dead" season 4. Will she reunite with Glenn?
"The Walking Dead" season 4 returns Sunday, February 9, 2014.
