"The Walking Dead" season 4's brand new trailer was released by AMC. The 30-second promo is for the second-half of "TWD" season 4 which starts Sunday, February 9. The trailer shows Beth Greene and Michonne in a terrible state. They break down in the promo.

Beth Greene is in a mess. Her father Hershel Greene was murdered by the Governor in "The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 8. Beth also cannot find her sister Maggie Greene. They were separated after the ferocious prison war. However, she is with Daryl Dixon which is a good sign for her.

The voice in the promo, probably Rick's, says, "I know we'll never get things back to the way they used to be." Later in the promo, fans hear a part of the speech to The Governor in "The Walking Dead" season 4 mid-season finale. "It's not gonna be easy. We're not too far gone."

AMC also released the description of "The Walking Dead" season 4 second half.

"Following the devastating events of the mid-season finale, Rick and the group are still reeling from the loss of their home, family, and friends. With the destruction of the prison, we see the group of survivors broken apart and sent on divergent paths, unsure of everyone else's fate. What was a challenging life behind fences and walls grows that much more perilous and precious as they are exposed to new dangers, new enemies, and heartbreaking choices. They will have their faith thoroughly tested -- a faith that breaks some of them and redeems others."

"The Walking Dead" season 4 with episode 9 and it is Carl-heavy episode. He will take the centre stage. In one of the promos, he is seen teasing two walkers.

By the look of this new promo, things are not going to be easy for Rick and company. However, the season gets hopeful as it approaches the end.
