The biggest mystery that is still on is what happened to Carol Peletier in "The Walking Dead" season 4's first half. Rick Grimes abandoned her in episode 4 after she said that she killed Karen and David. Fans speculated that she is going to come back on the show. However, it was not clear how her re-emergence would affect others especially Tyreese and Daryl Dixon.

Executive producer Robert Kirkman talked to The Hollywood Reporter about how Daryl and Tyreese react to Carol's comeback.

"They certainly have bigger problems right now, but I love that that's a very intense pressure-cooker situation that could boil over at any moment," said Robert.

"Something was technically kept from Tyreese, whether it was intentional or just a byproduct of a series of unfortunate events. He was kept in the dark about that situation, and how he finds about that, when he finds out about that, that's all up in the air. But we know that there are going to be consequences from that and hopefully viewers are watching each episode waiting for that shoe to drop. When it finally does, people are going to be pretty surprised by the outcome."

Meanwhile, Rick told Daryl about Carol's absence in the mid-season finale of "The Walking Dead" season 4. Before Daryl could react, the Governor emerged with his mighty tank and army to take over the prison. It would be interesting to see how Daryl would react to this news.

Robert mentioned that the news would be a big deal for Daryl Dixon.
