The characters in the AMC hit series "The Walking Dead" use a variety of weapons to knock the walkers off. Carl Grimes played by Chandler Riggs uses a pistol that Rick Grimes returned to him recently. While, our resident crossbow expert, Daryl Dixon is good with the bow and arrow and knocks the walkers down in an instant.

Rick has been using rock to smash the heads of the undead creatures. The use of this weapon has been quite effective for him. He also uses a gun but since the sound of a gunshot can attract more zombies, he resorts to the use of the rock.

According to Wetpaint, Andrew Lincoln revealed at Walker Stalker Con this weekend in Atlanta that Rick will be using a brand new, different kind of a weapon to annihilate the walkers and other foes. He admitted that so far the rocks have been effective in reducing the numbers of walkers but this new weapon or new technique is more effective and lethal.

Andrew stated that he is not going to spoil the surprise for the fans by revealing it. Apparently, Rick has developed a new technique to kill people in this season. It is something unique, different from a knife or a gun. Rick also mentioned that he was shocked to learn about this new weapon.

The keyword here is "technique." Rick must have devised a deadly way to knock off the walkers without making any sound to attract more of them.

What is this new weapon or technique? We wonder if it will be as effective as Daryl Dixon's crossbow or Carl's gun. Will Rick use a new poison to kill the walkers? Will he burn them using acid or something?
