If we go by the comic books, The Hunters are likely to show up soon on "The Walking Dead." It is possible that they appear by end of season 4, and Anissa Matlock might be cast as one of The Hunters.

Recently, Wetpaint shared a spoiler from "The Walking Dead" comic books and the folks from the website mentioned about The Hunters, who are cannibals. They appear in the comics when Rick Grimes' team is on the road, after the prison battle, to go to Washington D.C.

The comic books feature five men and one woman named Theresa in The Hunters group. "The Walking Dead" show does not religiously follow the comic book's storyline, but Scott Gimple (showrunner - "The Walking Dead" season 4 ) might not ignore this juicy comic books' plot.

Rumours about the alleged casting for The Hunters are also present on the internet. For instance, "The Walking Dead" Women posted this on Facebook on January 6, "There 6 Members of ''The Hunters..Anissa Matlock has been cast for the 2nd half of season 4. And rumors are flying around that she could be playing Theresa from The Hunters.******LOLA."

Moreover, Annisa's IMDb page lists "The Walking Dead" as one of the projects and she is credited as "Featured Terminan" for episode 16 which will be the finale episode of the season.

Andrew J. West might play the character Chris (leader of The Hunters). He was cast as Gareth who is a mix of unidentified character from the show. According to Wetpaint, Gareth will play a key role later in the season.

It is also possible that Gareth is an adaptation of Chris and he shows up with The Hunters during "The Walking Dead" season 4.
