‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Second-Half: The Return of Morgan Jones [SPOILERS]
Andrew Lincoln's first friend in the zombie apocalypse world - Morgan Jones might return in "The Walking Dead" season 4.
In July, Showrunner Scott Gimple stated that Morgan Jones would make a comeback in "TWD" season 4. It is still not clear as to when, where and how he will return.
After the terrible prison war between team Rick and team Governor, the prison was destroyed. Now, Rick and his team is divided and scattered into different directions. They are all on the road and looking for a safe place to live.
According to Wetpaint, in the comic books, Rick and his group had hit the road and later met new characters like Dr. Eugene, Abraham and Rosita. Robert Kirkman talked about Rosita's entry which is "somewhat different."
"As we get deeper into Season 4 you start to see some hints as to what we're doing and why we're bringing her in," said Robert Kirkman. He also mentioned that these three new character will be "very interesting and dynamic and explosive characters that will be breathing some new life into the show."
Also, at one point, Rick, Carl and Abraham (the new character) return to Rick's hometown to collect supplies, just like in episode 12, "Clear." It is not confirmed this particular sequence will be there in the TV version. Fans are aware that the comic and TV versions seldom walk hand-in-hand.
As for the comics, Morgan joins Rick and group on the road when they reach the Alexandria Safe-Zone. However, Morgan is still not emotionally stable because of what happened to his son, Duane. He can never forget his death.
Apart from Morgan Jones, rumours suggest that a group of cannibals called "The Hunters" might come in the second half of "The Walking Dead" season 4.
Episode 9 of "The Walking Dead" season 4 second half airs Sunday, February 9, 2014 on AMC.
