‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Second Half Spoilers: Rosita’s Story will be “Somewhat Different” from Comics
"The Walking Dead" is set to welcome new cast members in the ensemble soon. With the inclusion of new characters, the dynamics of a show changes. It evolves. "TWD" has a big cast already and with new characters coming in soon, the storyline will get interesting. Three new characters from the comic books are ready to come in "The Walking Dead" season 4, possibly in episode 10, although it has not been confirmed. Three major characters are Sgt. Abraham Ford played by Michael Cudlitz, Dr. Eugene Porter played by Josh McDermitt and Rosita Espinosa played by Christian Serratos.
"The Walking Dead" is based on the comics written by executive producer Robert Kirkman. However, the storyline of the TV series version tends to be different from the comic books. In the comics, Sgt. Abraham, Dr. Eugene and Rosita meet Rick Grimes and his group at Hershel's family farm. This happens after the ugly prison battle with The Governor and his army. Rick and the group hit the road with the new guys to reach Washington D.C.
"We're going to tell a version of the Eugene, Abraham, and Rosita comic stories, that's what we do," told Scott Gimple to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I can say that their introduction will be somewhat similar to how they were introduced in the comic, which I think is a very cool thing," told Robert Kirkman to Entertainment Weekly.
Robert told to SFX recently, and it looks like Rosita might get a new storyline.
"We're introducing her into the show in a somewhat different way than in the comics. As we get deeper into Season 4 you start to see some hints as to what we're doing and why we're bringing her in."

Rosita and Abraham are romantically involved in the comics, but we wonder if that would happen in the series. These three new characters will breathe new life into the show.
