The new character named Bob Stookey will only evolve in "The Walking Dead" season 4. When the show returns with the second half of the current, new things about this mysterious character, Bob Stookey will unfold in front of us.

Isn't it exciting?

Executive producer and comic book writer Robert Kirkman talked to SFX about the mystery surrounding Bob Stookey.

"He's kind of a linchpin to a lot of the storytelling and a lot of the storylines that [happened] early in the season, and his role will kind of emerge. You'll get a bigger picture of who he is and what he's been up to this entire time," said Robert Kirkman.

Things about Bob have never been quite clear, at least in the TV version. The comic book version's Bob is entirely different. In the comics, Bob was one of the members of the Woodbury group and he saved the life of The Governor. It was also speculated that he was one of The Governor's spies planted in the prison group. However, The Governor chapter is closed after his death at the prison battle and Bob too was shot in the assault.

The mystery surrounding Bob is still not clear. Does he had something to do with the rats on the fence?

Robert Kirkman has also called him a "linchpin" to various stories in "The Walking Dead" season 4.

Bob is also a alcohol lover and he was the only survivor of his last two groups. Daryl found him on the road. After the prison battle, he was seen leaving the destroyed prison with Sasha and Maggie Greene. Could he be a threat to Sasha and Maggie in any form?

This is certainly a great tease for fans to think about. With new characters like Sgt. Abraham Ford, Eugene and Rosita entering, Bob's role will play a crucial part in the storyline.
