‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5, Episode 1 Teaser Video: ‘What’s Coming Next’
The new teaser video featuring Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon
"The Walking Dead" Season 5 is set to hit the TV screens on Oct. 12, 2014. The dead shall rise again and the survivors will unite to fight the bad guys and zombies. After releasing the Season 5 trailer during San Diego Comic-Con, AMC has released a new teaser for "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 1.
AMC has unveiled a brand new 10-second long teaser video for "The Walking Dead" viewers and fans.
The video starts with a shot of several people in suits and gas masks. They seem to be entering into the train car where Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and others are stuck.
The teaser also shows a shot of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Rick. In this video, Daryl is not gagged and bound, however he looks baffled. Rick's shot looks like the first image shared by AMC for "The Walking Dead" Season 5.
The next scene shows a person doing an operation on an operating table.
"We don't know what's coming next," the female voice-over says in the teaser video.
It is difficult to identify who is conducting the operation or dissection, but clearly there are two folks in this scene. One is operating and the other one is getting operated. It looks like a chilling scene.
In the end, you can see a door and shadows of people. Also, a man's terrifying scream.
The sign on the door reads, "Safety glasses, hard hats for protection required beyond this point."
Andrew Lincoln talked to comic book writer and executive producer of "The Walking Dead" Robert Kirkman about the upcoming season.
"I think that this first episode is the strongest, most complete episode that we've done. It's full of action, the biggest action sequence that we've ever attempted. But it's also got one of the most incredible narrative scripts, and one of the coolest after credits coda," Lincoln said to Kirkman.
