The final leg of the rescue mission unfolds in "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 titled "Coda." Sneak peek video of the mid-season finale of Season 5 focuses on Father Gabriel who is in the church with Carl Grimes, Michonne and baby Judith. Meanwhile, Rick wants to strike a deal with the cops and doesn't want to harm anyone. However, the cops want to fight and resolve the issue.

Father Gabriel Stokes has been in the church for a long time now. He is struggling to survive in the post-apocalyptic world which has turned his world upside down.

In the sneak peek video "The Walking Dead" Season 5, mid-season finale, he is standing outside a building which is full of walkers. He spots a backpack and looks for the contents inside. He takes out a Bible which belonged to a person named Mary B. He opens the Bible to read a passage or two. Just when he is reading, he hears the sound of maggots eating a severed limb. Father Gabriel is upset at the sight.

In "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 7, "Crossed," Father Gabriel removed the boards and slipped out of the church. He went into the woods. In the woods, a nail got lodged in his foot and he somehow managed to free himself from a walker.

Spoiler TV shared a promo photo for the mid-season finale featuring Michonne. She is, certainly, not looking happy. She is angry at someone. In the last episode, she was in the church taking care of Carl, baby Judith and Father Gabriel. What is in store for Michonne in Episode 8?

Meanwhile, Daryl Dixon and others are at the hospital to rescue Beth Greene and Carol Peletier.
