"The Walking Dead" Season 5 Spoilers: Who Kidnapped Beth Greene?
In "The Walking Dead" Season 4, Episode 13, "Alone" Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene took shelter in someone's funeral home. Later, Beth was taken by someone in a black car with a white cross. She had been missing ever since. Fans speculated that she was abducted by someone and many believed that she was saved by Father Gabriel Stokes.
Deadline shared that a new character is set to enter in "The Walking Dead" Season 5. "The Wire" alum Seth Gilliam joined the show as a regular and his character was described as a man with two sides - friendly as well as dark because of a secret.
Wetpaint speculated that the description sounded like Gabriel Stokes. However, the TV show often changes the storyline and try to be different from the comic books.
If Seth is Father Gabriel and Beth is with him then she is kind of safe. In the comic books, Gabriel turned the members of his congregation away after the zombie outbreak as he wanted to save himself. This was Father Gabriel's dark secret. He was not evil but just a coward.
In Issue 61, Rick Grimes and others meet Gabriel on their way to Washington D.C.
"The Walking Dead" Season 5 airs this October on AMC.
