‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5: New Season to Reveal Beth Greene’s Fate
Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) is a complex character. Unlike other characters, she is a mix of different ones from the comic books and that is why it is difficult to predict about her. She was kidnapped by someone in a black car with a white cross in season 4 and the finale did not reveal what happened to her. "The Walking Dead" season 5 is expected to answer vital questions about Beth's whereabouts.
According to Comicbook.com, showrunner Scott Gimple talked about Beth's fate in "The Walking Dead" season 5.
When a fan asked Scott why Beth's story was not revealed in the last episode of season 4, he said, "I'm neither sadistic nor evil, as far as I know."
"I will say Beth, in some state, is totally somewhere. I'll say then, that that's going to be answered next season. And I'm really excited to tell everybody the answer. It might be a little heartbreaking, it might be a little heartwarming, but it's going to be interesting."
After "The Walking Dead" season 4, comic book writer and executive producer Robert Kirkman talked to TheWalkingDead.com.
"I can say that Terminus has a lot of signs out there and it's certainly possible that all kinds of different people out there could make their way to Terminus in some way, so maybe Beth shows up to Terminus in Season 5...maybe not. I think I can say that Beth's story is not over. We'll see her again, maybe in Season 5, maybe not," said Robert.
Beth was abducted and Wetpaint speculated that Father Gabriel Stokes might have taken her. The comic books show Rick and group spending some time at Gabriel's church while going to Washington D.C. Also, the poster for "The Walking Dead" season 5 shows Rick crouching on the ground bathed in light from what looks like a church window.
There can be many more theories about Beth, stay tuned for more.
"The Walking Dead" season 5 airs this October on AMC.
