The Walking Dead Season 5: Norman Reedus Working on ‘The Best Scripts so Far’
Currently, the cast and crew are busy filming "The Walking Dead" Season 5 in Georgia. Norman Reedus, the crossbow dude, talked about the new season and how "everybody on the whole team is so bada** right now."
Norman Reedus talked to Entertainment Weekly and he seemed to be quite excited about being back on "TWD" sets.
He praised the scriptwriting and mentioned that he is working with best scripts so far.
"These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it," said Norman.
"There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back," explained the actor.
Norman also talked about Scott M. Gimple who is working as showrunner for the second time on "The Walking Dead." He said it is great that Scott is back for "The Walking Dead" Season 5.
"Scott, he's so good at his job, and he's such a great storyteller and such a good writer. He has this thing planned out to the end, I think. He's definitely very qualified for the job. I never felt like we weren't stable, though. I feel like we're as stable as we ever were, just we have the confidence that we have this team back. It's such a well-oiled machine right now. It's great, and everyone feels super confident."
Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, also talked about his good friend Andrew Lincoln's character Rick Grimes. He shared that all the characters are bada** right now.
"It's interesting, because a lot of personalities are clashing, or characters' personalities are clashing. But yeah, we definitely have Rick back," said Norman.
"The Walking Dead" Season 5 episodes air on AMC this October.
