Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) are in the hospital and the latter is not in a good shape. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and others are set to face the hospital guys in "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 - "Coda." Will Daryl be able to save Beth and Carol in the mid-season finale?

Warning: Spoilers Alert!

Norman Reedus talked to Yahoo! TV about "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8, 'Bethyl' and 'Caryl' romance angles and his new confident outlook. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and team are at Grady Memorial Hospital to rescue Beth and Caryl, but it is not going to be easy. In the promo for Episode 8, Daryl Dixon is seen as a sniper on the roof of a building while Rick tries to negotiate with the 'cops'.

Reedus revealed that his character Daryl Dixon has evolved from season to season. From a "lone-wolf type of a guy" he has become someone who "looks you directly in the eye, and he means what he says."

This time a lot is at stake for Daryl as his two favourite ladies are in danger.

"Those two ladies mean so much to Daryl. I think those two females symbolize so much for him. A hope, and a friendship, and a compassion. And he probably doesn't even realize what that means. I know that everyone's trying to set Daryl up with someone," Reedus said.

He said that the stakes are indeed very high for Daryl "and he'll do anything to get his two girls back."

Reedus also revealed this "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 showdown is completely different from the Governor or the Terminus residents. Also, after this showdown, things are going to change dramatically for him as well as other survivors.
