“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 10 is set to highlight the new community that was introduced during the end of episode 9. Spoiler alert: This preview contains plot details about “The Walking Dead” season 7. The season premiered Oct. 20. The series is available for Australian viewers to watch on Foxtel every Monday, 1:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
The trailer for “The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 10 opens up with Rick and the gang ending up in the company of an unknown junkyard group after searching for Gabriel. With Rosita down on the ground, the apparent leader of the junkyard collective – a slender woman with rough bangs – gets down to business.
“We own your lives,” the woman tells Rick. “Do you want to buy them back?”
Rick, seemingly unfazed, tells her the absolute truth. Negan and the Saviours rule over everybody, and they won’t stop until they have everyone at their mercy.
“The Saviours, they own our lives,” answers Rick. “And they will come looking.”
Rick tells them there’s a way out, which clearly means that he’s going to try and convince them right off the bat next episode to go against Negan. Rick needs as many people as he can get, and seeing the large number that comprise the junkyard group certainly put a smile on Rick’s face.
At the Kingdom, Richard, the right-hand man of Ezekiel who’s also tired of Negan and the Saviours, seems to trust Daryl and the Alexandrians. While most of the community, including its “king,” have doubts about fighting the bat-swinging villain, Richard recognises the urgency. He may have something planned in order to convince Ezekiel to side with Rick.
“We want the same things,” he tells Daryl. “I need your help.”
Richard and some allies can be seen drawing guns on a number of Saviours. There are also glimpses of Morgan, Carol and Daryl with his crossbow, which could mean that fans might see him in action on the next instalment. The helmet-wearing spiked walker that previously appeared on the midseason trailer is also apparently set to appear next week.
“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 10 will have an extended runtime of 66 minutes. Episode 11 (“Hostiles and Calamities”) will run for 68 minutes.
