Yes, "The Walking Dead's" companion/spin-off series is happening for sure and now we have the name of six characters. These six characters will be fighting the walkers in this new "The Walking Dead" companion project.

TVLine has revealed details about the six main characters of this show. "The Walking Dead" companion show will feature another Andrea. Along with Andrea, the show will have two families - Tompkins and Cabrera. The spin-off will also have three teenagers.

AMC has not yet confirmed the casting call shared by TVLine. Have a look at the characters.

1. Nancy Tompkins: She is a 30-something single mom. Nancy takes care of two kids. She is just like the girl next door but "there's an edge to her."

2. Nick Tompkins: He is Nancy's teenage son and quite screwed up. This might be a messed character who is too scared to flee and too old to stay at home.

3. Ashley Tompkins: Ashley is Nancy's teenage daughter. Unlike her brother, she is level-headed with ambitions. She is fond of Nancy and loves her; however, it is time for her to get out of Dodge.

4. Sean Cabrera: This character in his early 40s is a Latino male. He is a good man who trying to do right things.

5. Cody Cabrera: He is supposedly the angriest child in town. He is "Sean's whip-smart and rebellious teenage son."

6. Andrea Chapman: She is 40-something and yes, she is another Andrea. This "somewhat wilted flower child" is recovering after a bad marriage.

"The Walking Dead" comic book writer Robert Kirkman, David Alpert and Gale Anne Hurd (executive producer of "The Walking Dead") will executive produce the companion project. Also, writer-producer Dave Erickson ("Sons of Anarchy") will be the showrunner/co-creator.

No additional details about the set or cast have been revealed by the network.
