The movie "Warcraft" will be based on the first video game from the franchise and will focus on the conflict between the human race and the orcs. The revelation was made by the producers at the BlizzCon event. The producers also shared one of the scenes featuring in the movie and introduced the characters. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The producers of "Warcraft" brought a lot of the props and costumes from the actual movie to the stage and showcased the efforts put into the movie. The producers recognised that the franchise had a huge fan following, thanks to the popularity of the games.

In the video taken from the BlizzCon event, the producers showed how authentic the costumes and the props in the movie will look compared with the video games. The most notable weapon showcased at the event was the Doom Hammer wielded by the character Orgrim.

The three panel members who talked to the audience about "Warcraft" were the director of the movie Duncan Jones, visual effects supervisor Bill Westenhofer and the story and characters writer Chris Metzen. The director revealed during the discussion that he was a supporter of the "Alliance," which is the human race, and Chris Metzen revealed that he fights for the "Horde," which is of the orcs.

Chris Metzen described one of the scenes featuring in the movie. The scene was about the orc chief Durotan. The scene begins with Durotan sitting near his pregnant wife, who is in a lot of pain. The world is said to be "going to hell" and Durotan has his hand to his face and later looks into the shadows with all the uncertainties facing him. The scene reportedly helps the viewers to connect with the orc and forget that he is not human.

The movie is said to tell the story of an unavoidable conflict between the orcs and the humans. Unlike other movies, "Warcraft" does not portray the orcs as bad or evil.

The promotion of the movie will reportedly also be done in two separate Web sites, one for the Alliance and the other for the Horde. The fans of the franchise have been encouraged to choose who to root for in the movie.

The producers said that they took extra care to ensure that the audience will be able to empathise with not only the human characters but also the orcs. The story in "Warcraft" will focus on Anduin Lothar, the supreme commander of the Alliance forces and Durotan of the orcs.
