The director of "Warcraft," Duncan Jones," spoke about his upcoming movie. Movie reportedly has several complicated special effects scenes and is currently said to be in the finishing stage. The movie is slated to be released in March 2016.

"Warcraft" is of the most highly anticipated movies by the fans of the franchise who have been playing the games from the series for the past many years. According to a translation provided by ManMadeMovies Duncan Jones spoke to a Chinese website about his upcoming movie.

The producers are reportedly finishing the editing work in the movie and the "complicated special effects" will reportedly take some time before the movie will be finished. The special effects in the movie will be handled by a company called Industrial Lights and Magic that has worked on movie projects like "Iron Man," "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" and "Transformers."

When asked to choose a favourite character from the upcoming "Warcraft" movie, Duncan Jones was reluctant. He reportedly said that he felt like a "parent" to all the characters. The movie will feature two opposing factions, the orc Horde and the human Alliance. The director hoped that the audience will be able to recognise the heroes in both factions.

Duncan Jones did however say that the character Durotan was "very special" to him. Durotan is the orc chief of the Frostwolf Clan. The character is played by Toby Kebbell in the upcoming movie. The character is also very popular in the game series of the franchise.

The director said that the possibility of more "Warcraft" movies will depend on the reaction to his first movie. He reportedly said that the main idea behind the first movie was to introduce the world and the major characters to a broad range of audience.

The plot of "Warcraft" will reportedly focus on the first contact between the orcs and humans. The idea behind choosing this specific timeline was reportedly because many in the audience may not be familiar with the franchise. The first contact between the two races will reportedly give the filmmakers an opportunity to present the "newness" to the audience through the eyes of some of the characters.
