FIBA EuroBasket Championship 2013 is expected to get more intense as the tournament enters the fifth day of competition. Perennial contenders Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Russia and Germany are scheduled to hit the hard court on Wednesday, all hoping to get another win to improve their chances of progressing to the next round.

Coming off an upset loss to Slovenia, Spain unleashed its true strength against Czech Republic as they cruised to 60-39 result to improve their record at 2-1. On Sunday, the Spaniards have the opportunity to seal their place in the next round, only if they can beat Poland (8:30 P.M), who has been winless in three assignments.

Meanwhile, Russia is in for a make-or-break game against Finland (8:30 P.M) after dropping their three games in a row in the tourney. If the Russians lose the game, it would mark their worst stint in the biennial European basketball championships.

Finally at 3:00 a.m, Goran Dragic and the host nation Slovenia will attempt to nab their fourth victory against Croatia, who already won their last two games after dropping the tourney opener to Spain.
