Summer Nights is officially underway on Hallmark Channel, and the network is continuing the event with the premiere of its newest film, “The Baker’s Son,” starring Eloise Mumford and Brant Daugherty.

The movie will be a treat for Hallmarkies, because it will be a reunion for the two stars, who both had roles in the theatrical film, “Fifty Shades Freed.” In addition, they have both starred in other films for the Hallmark family of networks. Mumford previously starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “A Veteran’s Christmas,” and is also likely known for her roles as Hope Jacquinot on “Chicago Fire” and Trudy Cooper on “The Right Stuff.”

As for Daugherty, who is likely best known for his role as Noel Kahn on “Pretty Little Liars,” he previously starred in Hallmark’s “Mingle All The Way.” Other projects have included the Up TV films “Just for the Summer” and “A Christmas Movie Christmas.”

So what will happen when these two former co-stars reunite for what will be their first Hallmark film together?

“When a ballet dancer visits the small island of Windward, local baker Matt (Daugherty) is enamored,” a synopsis reads. “His passion for her somehow finds its way into his baking, transforming Matt’s bread from bland to brilliant. His wondrous new success attracts tourists, boosting the fortunes of the small island community. When the dancer leaves Matt is heartbroken and his bread promptly loses its magic.”

Knowing they need his talent to come back, the townspeople go on a mission to find him someone new. However, what no one seems to realize is that the right woman is already in plain sight.

“The townsfolk immediately set about trying to find him a new muse but in the process, everyone, including Matt, overlooks the most obvious choice—Annie (Mumford), the owner of the local café and Matt’s best friend and confidant who supported and loved him all along,” the synopsis says.

“The Baker’s Son” premieres Saturday, June 12 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
