Beyonce's latest album has created buzz over the past few weeks due to its surprise release, but the efforts to put up the 17-track album and the accompanying videos is not a surprise anymore.

The "Love on Top" singer dishes out on the making of the Self-Titled album in the four-part video series. In the third part of the series entitled "Run N' Gun," Beyonce reveals that she recorded around 80 songs for the album.

'When I started picking the songs that I gravitated towards, because I recorded about 80 songs, it was the songs that were more effortless for me that stuck around that I still love that I loved a year ago when I recorded them,' says Beyonce.

She also gushes about the song "Drunk in Love," which has the word 'freestyle' written all over it because it was created while going with the flow and enjoying the 'party' at the same time.

'I kind of freestyled the verse, and Jay went in and he started flowing out his verse... we just kinda had a party,' recalls Queen Bey. 'And then Timbaland... put out his keys.'

'It was so great, because it wasn't about any ego, we weren't trying to make a hit record... we were just having fun... and I think you can hear that in the record.'

Meanwhile, the songstress recently found herself on fire after some people called her 'insensitive' for using the audio clip from the NASA Challenger explosion in 1986. The said explosion left seven people dead after the wreckage fell into the ocean.

However, Beyonce says in a recent interview that they did not meant to disrespect the victims and their families in using the audio clip.

'My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster,' says Bey to ABC News. 'The song XO was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you.'
