Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Irina Shayk makes her debut as an actress by playing the role of Hercules' wife Megara in the upcoming movie "Hercules: The Thracian Wars," and Paramount Pictures International has released a teaser trailer. In the new trailer, people will have a glimpse of the action-packed and exhilirating story plot of the movie and a sneak peak of Russian Sports Illustrated model's acting skills. Here's a link for the video.

Irina was reportedly honoured for getting picked to star in the movie opposite of Dwayne Johnson. She couldn't be thankful enough for her big break on the big screen, Just Jared reported. "For the first time on the big screen, I'm so excited and honoured to say I'll be working with Brett Ratner on his new movie 'Hercules,'" Irina said upon learning that she landed a role in the film.

While filming "Hercules," Irina missed out on some big fashion events including the 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show, New York Post's Page Six reported.

Dwyane, on the other hand, talked about the preparations that he had to go through for the film. He posted a photo on Instagram. According to the former wrestler, he underwent training for eight months and said that he had never worked harder than ever before. Dwayne said that his goal was to fully transform into Hercules' character. "Press journalist asked me today, with the mental and physical toll the role had on me, would I do it again," he wrote. "Not only would I do it again, I'd do it f*cking twice," he added.

The movie is based on the graphic novel "Hercules: The Thracian Wars." It is directed by Brett Ratner who had previously directed the "X-Men: The Last Stand" movie and the "Rush Hour" film series. The movie also stars Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt among others.

The movie will hit the cinemas in the U.S. on July 25, in the UK on Aug. 8, and in Australia on July 31.
