Emmy Rossum has really gone a long way just to train herself up and become a successful singer, especially in the opera genre at present day.

Emmy Rossum has been known for her unforgettable role in the blockbuster hit 'The Day After Tomorrow' and for playing the role of Christine in the movie adaptation of 'Phantom of the Opera,' where she got to play alongside Gerard Butler who played the role of the great phantom.

It was just recent when she appeared as guest in 'Conan' where she never got away from the interesting challenges set by the show on their guests. The singing star shared during the show her childhood days of training for opera singing.

And this led her to sing in an operatic approach in exchange for a hotdog for dinner. The actress from 'Shameless' recalls how she used to drop by a butcher's shop in their neighbourhood and was always willing to sing as if she's getting an ARIA just to have a hot dog as a little girl.

Check out the video on how O'Brien pushed Rossum to re-enact the same routine she used to do as a little girl for the small hot dog treat.
