The first teaser released for Homeland Season 3 has been driving its fans crazy for the chilling, cryptic and cerebral video that has kept eager fans waiting and still, in the dark as to where Nick Brody is.

Yes, the 30-second clip featured Brody’s voice but it had left everything to everyone’s imagination, leaving no clue of Brody’s whereabouts and what he was up to. Even worse, it doesn’t really give hope for any reunion of the television’s sexiest love team who met at a not very promising circumstances: Brody is a suspected terrorist while Carrie is a devoted, and passionate agent of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Watching the video, (err, listening to seconds-long audio) revealed nothing but some unidentified voices chattering away, amidst chaos and busy phone lines. It has kept Homeland “addicts” under wraps as it provided no hints of what happens next after Carrie helped Brody escape in the Season 2 finale of America’s most-watch, much loved, drama-thriller.

It will be recalled that Season 2 ended with the massive explosions during the funeral service of Vice President William Walden (Jamey Sheridan). CIA director David Estes (David Harewood) was giving his testimony after working with the Vice President for years when the service was rocked with explosions. The bomb originated from Brody’s car which he claimed he left parked away from everyone. Thinking Brody may not be able to explain himself as his old video confession made the airwaves shortly after, Carrie decided to help the war veteran and allowed him to escape.

This scene was what Homeland devoted followers expect the popular show to take off from.

But Showtime’s hit series first teaser gave no actual footage on the short clip. Brody’s familiar voice however, was among heard in the trailer. Albeit short, it promises a lot of things and it has proven one thing - - that we will see more of Brody.

Contrary to earlier claims that there will be less Brody in Homeland Season 3, the new teaser for the drama-thriller showed a big sign that we will be seeing a lot of Brody. And the clip also promises that the love between suspected terrorists and the one fighting terrorism will be given another shot.

A snippet in the teaser even hinted that there's indeed more to come from Carrie and Brody as the war veteran turned Congressman was heard asking if the love of his life even knew of his whereabouts.

Brody's voice in the teaser said: ‘Does Carrie know I'm here?’

Scroll down and check out the first teaser for Showtime’s popular, and highly anticipated TV series. Prepare Homeland Season 3 to rock your world beginning September 29, 2013.
