The FIBA Africa Championship keeps on heating up with tournament favorite Tunisia, Nigeria, Angola and Ivory Coast all look to wrap up their grouping on a winning note.

Host nation Ivory Coast cruised to a 64-47 win over Algeria in their first game of Group A while Senegal sneaked in a 72-70 win over Egypt in the other pairing.

Meanwhile, defending champion Tunisia survived Morocco 56-54 on the second day of play in Group B while former African champion Angola blasted Cape Verde 75-50 to open Group C play in a dominating fashion.

Finally, Nigeria has showcased its true strength right away with a 74-59 demolition at the expense of Mali. The Nigerians feature several NBA players such as Ike Diagu, Al-Farouq Aminu and Gani Lawal.
