Fresh from a 2-0 victory over Indonesia on Saturday, Liverpool is set to continue their Pan-pacific tour on Wednesday as they take on the Melbourne Victory at a sell-out crowd at MCG.

The Reds are gearing up for a crucial test against the Melbourne Victory, but they will have the service of ace striker Luis Suarez this time around.

Suarez, who has been in the center of controversy during his tumultuous two-year tenure with Liverpool, rejoined his mother ball club since lending his service with the Uruguayan National Football Team at the just concluded FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil.

Liverpool has received several offers for the high-scoring footballer, but the Reds stood firm in keeping Suarez until they get a rightful offer from his suitors.

"The reality is that he's a player who is very much valued at Liverpool and unless there's any sort of offer that comes in that is anywhere near his value, there's nothing to consider, and we haven't had that," Liverpool Manager Brendan Rogers told Sportal.com.au on Monday.

Suarez acknowledged his desire to leave Liverpool right after the end of the 2012-2013 English Premier League season. EPL rival Arsenal and Spanish La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid have shown interest in buying the rights of Suarez, but the Reds haven't received an enticing deal in exchange for the striker.

With Suarez in the fold, Liverpool is expected to be more dangerous offensively and it's all bad news for the Melbourne XI, who are in for serious beating on Wednesday.
